Monday

Today I started week 3 of my half marathon training. The training called for a 3 mile run.
I went to the gym and got on the Treadmill. I walked a quarter mile warm up and ran the first mile in 10 mins. Than mile 2 I ran in 9:13. Mile 3 I ran in 8 mins!!! I have never ever ran a mile that fast!! I am so proud of myself. I than walked .75 miles to cool down.
I have been using my short weekday runs (I never ever thought I would call 3-4 miles short) to work on my speed and it looks like it is paying off.
57 days till the SLC half marathon.
