Things that worked for this event : weather and company
Things that didn’t work well for this event : I ate and slept like crap for the whole week prior and could tell that I was carrying extra weight
Psychological Observations : I stuck with Amy for 10 miles and felt good. Mile 10 I hit the wall and was done. I told Amy to take off and I fished the last 3 miles a lot slower
Post-Race Recovery : I sat in the car for 13 hours. I bought compression socks before our trip and put them on after the race and I think they helped but I am so sore in my hips today. I am still not walking right.
Things to Improve for Next Time : my eating leading up to the race.
